At Catalyst Behavioral Health we provide Individual Outpatient Mental Health Therapy for a wide range of mental health issues. We can also collaborate with schools and other medical providers to ensure continuity of care.

General Services

Mood Disorders

Therapy services are a useful tool for clients needing tools to make positive changes in their lives. Our providers offer therapy for anxiety, depression, anger management, and other mood disorders.

Trauma & PTSD Treatment

Our providers use different techniques to help you process your traumatic experience. Some involve visualizing, talking, or thinking about the traumatic memory. Others focus on changing unhelpful beliefs about the trauma. You and your therapist will work together to set goals and develop new skills. The work may be hard, but the outcome will be worth it.

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, or CBT, treats problems and boosts happiness by modifying dysfunctional emotions, behaviors, and thoughts. CBT helps identify harmful thoughts, assess whether they are an accurate depiction of reality, and uses strategies to overcome them.

Couples Therapy

Resolve conflicts, and improve your relationship through couples counseling. You can make thoughtful decisions about rebuilding and strengthening your relationship or going your separate ways. Our providers focus on strengthening the relationship, achieving a deeper understanding of each other, and working on communication problems. Other issues addressed are infidelity, substance abuse, anger, child raising conflicts, and sexual difficulties.

Family Therapy & Grief Counseling

In family therapy our providers address specific issues that are affecting the health of a family. We can assist with families going through difficult events, major transitions, or any mental and behavioral problems. Grief counseling is not only for those who have lost loved ones. Our providers can help individuals or families with many forms of change and loss, such as with divorce, miscarriages, relocations, and even the loss of a loved pet.

LGBTQ Support

Our providers offer support for clients and their right to explore, define and articulate their own identity. We support and assist with the communication between clients and their families. We also offer our clients support for negative ideas or feelings of guilt, depression, anxiety, and low self esteem they may be experiencing.

Crisis Management

We offer a 24/7 After-Hours Crisis Line for contacting your provider after office hours. In the event of a mental health emergency, please call our toll-free crisis Line at 1.800.247.4941, and they will alertdwdd your provider. Please Note: if this is a true medical emergency, you should call 911.

Telehealth Services

We request all clients complete our Telehealth Consent Form. In addition, please check with your insurance company to confirm coverage for Telehealth services. Telehealth sessions may be accessed using a laptop, smartphone, IPad, or any personal computer.

Specialized Services

Neuropsychology

Neuropsychological testing is an important component of the assessment and treatment of traumatic brain injury, dementia, neurological conditions, and psychiatric disorders. It is also used to examine the effects of toxic substances and medical conditions on brain function.

Concussion Testing

Concussion testing includes ImPACT (Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing), an online neurocognitive assessment. It also includes baseline testing and post-injury testing which are used together to determine if a patient can safely return to physical activity.

Professional Presentations

Our providers regularly give professional presentations on a variety of issues in psychology. These can include educational seminars and staff trainings. If you know of a group who would benefit from additional education, please contact us to schedule this.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy

Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or DBT, aims to help clients understand and manage extreme or unstable emotions in order to change harmful behaviors like self-harming, substance use to control emotions, eating problems, and unstable relationships. DBT teaches skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Primarily, DBT aids clients increase their resiliency and build a life worth living through individual therapy and a skills training group (when available).
